This January has been rather different.
First month of 2006, and a first of many things for me as well.
-First job. Shamelessly, my first proper job in my 19 years of life is deliverying pizza. For a first job, it's pretty decent though. I make about $100 on tips alone in three days. In contrast, average coastal Chinese get $100 CND per month.
-First car accident. Note, I said accident, because it was not my fault, and I was not in control of it. I stopped at the red light, and the idiot behind me rammed into my SUV. His bonnet slammed into the lower end of the spare tire of my car. Tire vs. bonnet. I guess I won. Since nothing happened to my car, and it was his fault, I let him go.
-First police pull over. It was a bit scary. It was night time and just a thing to see two cop cars with their lights flashing in the rear view mirror. Luckly, they let me go with a warning. Oh yes, it was because I forgot to turn my headlamps on. Interestingly, had they caught me earlier doing 120km/h, I suppose it'd be more than just a warning.
-First time skipping voluntarily. Nothing much to add here.
-First time needing to tie my hair up before eating. Otherwise I'll eat my hair as well.
-First time cutting myself while shaving. I bled for hours. I'll never shave again. It was my lip by the way, in case you were wondering.
That's all.
